HALFYARD, Deborah
1952-2022Passed away very peacefully with her daughter by her side on June 11th, 2022, at 70 years of age. Born in Newfoundland, she was the only daughter of the late Gordon and Jean Halfyard. Beloved sister to the late Derek Halfyard (Yvonne) and to Les Halfyard (Irene). Wife of the late Jean-Yves Laniel, she leaves behind her daughter Jessica (Francis), her 5-year-old granddaughter Emma, as well as extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday July 2nd, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:15 pm at the Magnus Poirier funeral complex : 2480 boulevard du Curé-Labelle in Prévost ( J0R 1T0 ). Her funeral will be at 4:15 pm. The Ceremony will be given by an Anglican priest. Her daughter Jessica wants to say thank you so much to her two friends Mélanie and Jessica for staying by her side when her mother was at the hospital. Also, a special thank-you to all the caregivers and the doctor at the CHSLD Louise-Faubert. May God bless you all.

Jessica, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. Your Mom and I worked very closely together for many years and she thought the world of you. She was one in a million and although I haven’t seen her in years, I think of her often.
